Markland: A non-profit historical educational organization, incorporated in Maryland and operating mostly from the Virginias through the New York City area.

Band of the Hawk: Markland Reenactment group concentrating in Elizabethan and Renaissance fencing, specifically from about 1550 – 1605

Companions of the Cross: A Markland chapter which participates in Steel Rec Fighting, Frat Fighting, and Period Fencing.

Galatia: A Celtic fighting group out of Columbia, Maryland which participates in Historical Demos, Markland and the SCA.

House Von Draken: A Markland group which attends roughly two dozen plus events a year and holds its own annual feast, Renaissance Fete, and participates in school and social events abroad.

The Longship Company: A Markland group that was founded for educational purposes which are met by the operation of two replica viking ships.

Order of the Golden Lion: TCNJ's Markland chapter that re-enacts all things medieval including but not limited to Clothing, Trade Skills (blacksmithing, leatherworking) , Fighting, Singing, Dancing, Archery, Feasting, and Fencing.

Ostvik Vikings: A group of individuals who share an interest in Viking age and in living history which expresses this through education and reenactment of encampments and battles.

Scarlet Cross:  An undergraduate student organization at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The group's purpose is to study and re-enact some of the more interesting parts of Medieval history.
