Camp Out for Hunger
December 2006

Being the charitable time of year that December is, the Pirates decided it would be in good measure to raise food for those less fortunate in our area.  This year, we donated approximately 400 pounds to Preston and Steve's Camp Out for Hunger, a local radio talk show.  All proceeds from the drive went to Phil-A-Bundance, an organization that provides meals to people in need in Philadelphia and its surrounding communities.  Of course, it wouldn't be a Pirate effort if we didn't turn up in full costume, and our crew was even featured on the show that morning.

Many thanks go out to the crew, our friends, and Merck RAS in West Point for their efforts and contributions to this successful drive!
